FROM FR. LIAM 5 June 2020
05.06.2020

Dear friends,

The exciting news that some of the restrictions are being relaxed sooner than originally planned has come as a welcome bit of news and I'm sure that it is very emotional for many people.

Here in the parish, we have been planning the reopening of the Church for private prayer and ultimately to have the Church ready for public Masses. Initially the Church will be open for two hours in the afternoon, from 2.00-4.00pm beginning Monday next (8th June). There will be limited access in the Church and people will be asked to refrain from walking around the Church. After each day the Church will have to be cleaned to ensure that the Church will be safe to open the following day.

We are assembling a team of volunteers to assist in the task of ensuring that people coming in to the Church observe the proper protocols. If you would like to help, please let me know.

There will be a one way system in operation and hygiene will be important as well.

In time we will extend the opening hours and as soon as the go ahead is given we will open up the Church on a more full time basis.

Wishing you all every blessing.
